Honey Bee Gardens Is It Possible To Keep European Honey Bees As Well As Native Canadian Bees At The Same Time?

Is it possible to keep European honey bees as well as native Canadian bees at the same time? - honey bee gardens

I (mostly) Canadian Aboriginal cultures / plants in my garden, but I do not want to produce honey (to improve commercial) and the health of my garden with native pollinators for.

Is this possible?

Bees pollinate crops in most European Native Americans and provided you do not use insecticides and a good amount of pollen and nectar for native bees in your area visit the flowers.

There should be no problem, several hives of honeybees. does not scare the native bees, even if you decide to put the wood to bees, wood and other accommodations for many other species of native bees in North America.

I have on my farm in Ohio that I am over 45 different native bees at different times of the year. Two weeks ago I saw at least 10 different bees (including 3-band Italian bees), all happy in a plum blossom. No longer maintain the hives of European honey bees will, but if I did, which has grown in each case more native species on my farm.

The important thing is not to be used, pesticides, if you try to attract the bees and sources of water will not drown (a cube with a little bit caught in the branches that the insects have a chance if they fall in water). S and, of course, many flowers / pollen /ectar.
